Panjeeyan provides modules for Initial Enquiry for stamp duty evaluation, Cash Collection, Entry of Basic Data, Verification by RO, Scanning of registered Document, Digital Photo and Finger prints of 1st, 2nd Party along with Witness and modules for generating various MIS Reports and Searching of digitized documents. Sonitpur was taken up as the pilot district under sponsorship from DIT for the Registration project and e-Panjeeyan has been rolled out in all the four SROs in that district during May-October this year. Till now, it has also been implemented in nine Sub-Registrar Offices. The Chief Minister was kind enough to inaugurate e-Panjeeyan at Jorhat on 3-11-07 in presence of Minister (Revenue). At other places also, Minister(Revenue) and/or other high-dignitaries inaugurated e-Panjeeyan.
